Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Health, Safety, Welfare & Quality Administrator to join our team at Coleman Training Development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Health, Safety, Welfare & Quality (HSWQ) department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety principles and a keen eye for detail.

Clear DBS required
Hours of work: 9am-5pm Tues, Weds, Thurs - 15hours per week

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure Risk assessments are up to date.
• All H&S docs for office and students are completed.
• Write documents using company templates. Occasionally create / update templates.
• Complete EHCP reviews with Welfare lead in timely manner.
• Support New referral intake admin especially around welfare.
• Complete Safeguarding Admin alongside Tutors / welfare lead.
• Quality check company docs Monthly as per procedure laid out.
• Feedback to individuals – quality findings.
• To administrate all documents within the H&S & Welfare role to a high standard.
• Provide admin support to Tutors and other provision staff within the H&S / Welfare remit.

Level 2

Essential and Desirable Skills

•Experience of working within a health and safety or administrative role.
•Strong understanding of health and safety principles and regulatory requirements.
•Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Organised; proactive & reactive.
•Team worker.
•Flexibility within the role.
•Desirable: Health / Care / Education / SEND experience
