TeacherResponsibilities
- Planprepare and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year1 students.
- Implement appropriate teachingstrategies to engage and inspire students.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing regularfeedback and setting targets for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculummaterials and share best practices.
- Maintain asafe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectfulbehaviour and positive relationships.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provideupdates on student progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings professional developmentworkshops and other school activities asrequired.
Requirements
- Bachelorsdegree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Year 1 students in a primaryschool setting.
- Excellent knowledge of theNational Curriculum and assessment methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs ofindividual learners.
- Dedication to ongoingprofessional development and a commitment to staying uptodate withthe latest educational practices.
- Flexibilityand adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative teamenvironment.
