Quality Manager

Our Loughborough based client isrecruiting for an experienced Quality Manager to join their teambased in Loughborough. The purpose of the role is to ensure thatthe quality management (management system and improvement needs)reaches all levels of the company understanding customer needs andrequirements to develop effective quality control processesdevising and reviewing specifications for products or processes andsetting requirements for raw material or intermediate products forsuppliers as well as monitoring theircompliance.
The successful candidatewill have a strong background within heavy manufacturing 5 yearsexperience any level of Spanish language skills would be an addedbonus but are by no meansessential
Responsibilitiesto Include the development and maintenance ofthe Quality Management Systemincluding:
The investigationand analysis of the causes of any Nonconformity with the Qualitysystem as well as the resolution ofthem.
The definition and supervisionof the corrective actionsnecessary.
Develop and supervise theactions established to address risks andopportunities.
The study and analysisof the results of the controls and inspections carried out duringthe manufacturing and assembly processes in the workshop and thefinal product.
Prepare and approve theProcedures Instructions and QualityPlans.
Supervise the operation andimplementation of the Quality Plans established for certainproducts.
Manage customercomplaints.
Investigate develop andsupervise the implementation of possible improvements in theQuality System.
Develop and implementtraining for the staff that needs it in a workshop for theapplication of qualityinstructions.
Perform or manage thecalibration or verification of the measurementequipment.
Approve the proceduresquality plans and instructions that may be prepared by a technicianfrom the Quality Department or the department affected by saiddocument.
Inform and advise on Qualityissues to clients.
Manage and documentthe management system Edoc. Register the quality documentation inthe Edoc.
Define organize andsupervise the activities carried out by the quality technicians inthe workshops.
Relationship with otherareas that develop activities directly related to the quality ofthe product or systems.
Carry outevaluations of suppliers of corrugated steel and measuringequipment.
Analysis of customersatisfaction

Circa 40.000 perannum
Working hours Monday to Friday 7am to 5 pm
28 days of holiday(including BH); extra 2 days of paid personal day
