Hourly Rate: £20

Night Shifts

Hours Per Week: 36

Shift Times: 8:00-8:00

This Nursing Home, in Kilmarnock, offers a versatile care service for a wide range of personal needs, maintaining many nursing packages as well as respite and dementia care provision.
The service supports the UK National Dementia Strategy, with one-to-one sessions an important element of the service in allowing those experiencing memory loss to protect their life skills.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN) within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring that the care, welfare and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standard
  • Carrying out assessments and evaluations
  • Create person-centred care plans and update accordingly
  • Liaising with external governing bodies and agencies
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements in record keeping, documentation and health and safety
  • Mentoring junior member of staff
  • Undertaking specific duties as delegated by the Home Manager


Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN) role:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
  • Valid UK NMC Pin
  • Clear PVG
