We are recruiting for a dedicated Teacher to join our Alternative Provision (AP) school in New Milton, where we support students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) who thrive in a tailored, supportive learning environment.
About the Role:As a Teacher in our Alternative Provision, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire and support the unique needs of each pupil. You will work collaboratively within a supportive team to create individualised learning plans that help each student achieve their fullest potential in both academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with EHCPs.
- Use a range of teaching methods and resources to connect with students who may face barriers in traditional educational settings.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, fostering a safe and encouraging classroom environment.
- Track and monitor pupil progress, adapting learning approaches as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and support teams to ensure a holistic approach to each pupil’s development.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in an Alternative Provision or SEN setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate students.
- Resilience, patience, and creativity in supporting students with diverse needs.
- Must hold a valid driving license and have access to reliable transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
