We are happy for you to be based in Bradford, Chatham or Petersfield but please note that occasional travel will be required to our other offices

Working Pattern: Our working style is hybrid, but we recognise the importance of collaborative working with our colleagues often 1 to 3 days per week in one of our offices

You and Your Team:

As a Data Modeller, you will be reporting to the Lead Data Architect. You’ll be part of the Architecture team working with the data architect/ leads to design the data warehouse and data products adhering to the agreed methodologies. Support the development and management of data management systems supporting all stages of data, from creation, through to ingestion and consumption.

In your day-to-day role, as a Data Modeller you will:

Understand the business context to help drive maximum value from our data Use the Enterprise Conceptual Data Model and understanding of operational data to build and extend the data warehouse Develop and document logical and physical data models primarily in a data warehouse context, but also supporting operational models Provide data design advice and assurance, as required, during delivery Translate business requirements to define data products for consumption Adhere to the standards and guardrails of the Data Architecture Contribute to the definition, maintenance, and improvement of the Data Architecture Drive efficiencies through the use and application of standards and frameworks Present and explain data models in wider IT forums and meetings Work closely in cross-functional Data community, assisting the development, championing and delivery of the Data Warehouse and data products.

What will make you stand out?

Experience delivering with Data Vault and Dimensional methodologies Strong experience of working as a Data Modeller Broad understanding and awareness of technology and trends Experience of, and ability to create and implement Data Models, patterns, and standards Preferable related education qualification or deep related experience Experience of working across mixed technology stacks, with an emphasis on Cloud based SaaS Architectures Experience designing data models for deployment on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse

The interview process:

Up to 30minute telephone call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team Up to 1 hour competency/ technical interview with the hiring manager Up to 1 hour Final interview with the hiring team for an hour competency/ technical interview
