TPF Recruitment are recruitingfor a fantastic multisited firm of accountants who are looking foran Accounts & Tax Manager to join their team in North Kent.This accountancy practice boasts a fantastic work life balance andoffers an excellent family feel working environment. You will workin a general practice capacity across accounts tax bookkeepingmanagement accounts VAT and CIS. You will have the support of asmall but experienced team and work in a client facing capacity asthe first point of call for client queries. Clients range from soletraders and partnerships through to limited companies of varyingsizes across a range of sectors.

Thisopportunity is suited to both Managers who are looking to progressin their career with ambitions to becoming a Partner as well asManagers who are looking for a long term managerial position butperhaps not necessary be interested inpartnership.
  • Managinga client portfolio including limited companies sole traderspartnerships andindividuals
  • Overseeing and manage all aspects of clients service deliveryincluding preparation of yearend accounts management accountsbookkeeping VAT and CIS
  • Liaising with clients on accounts and tax issues asrequired
  • Act as the main point of contact forclients keeping them informed with progress and maintaining regularcontact withthem
  • Reviewingwork completed by junior team members and resolving all issuesprior tosubmission
  • Buildingand maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Developingretaining and motivating junior members of staff and assist in themanagement of the overall day to day running of thepractice.

Requirements
  • ACCA/ACAqualified or equivalent with at least 23 years of postqualificationexperience
  • Have proven experience of working in a practiceenvironment
  • Experience in managing a clientportfolio
  • Have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strongclientrelationships
  • Experienceof using cloudbased accounting software packages such as Sage XeroQuickBooks
  • Experienceof TaxCalc or a similar accountancy software desirable but notessential.
