Position: Phonics Support Teaching Assistant

Location: Sefton

Rate of Pay: £12.90 per hour

Working Hours:  8.45am - 3.15pm, Monday to Friday

The school believe in providing every child with a strong foundation in literacy skills, and phonics is a crucial component of that foundation. They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Phonics Support Teaching Assistant to make a difference in the lives of their students.

What You'll Do:

-          Support Phonics Education: Your role will involve working closely with our educators to provide targeted assistance to students who require additional support in phonics. Your expertise will play a key role in helping children develop essential reading and writing skills.

-          Engage and Encourage: Through engaging activities and interactive learning experiences, you will inspire students to explore the world of sounds, letters, and words. Your positive attitude and creativity will contribute to making learning a joyful journey for our young learners.

-          Personalised Approach: Every child is unique, and your ability to identify individual learning needs will be essential. You'll work one-on-one or in small groups to tailor your support, ensuring that every student receives the attention they need to thrive.

-          Collaborate and Innovate: Our school values teamwork and innovation. You'll collaborate with teachers and fellow teaching assistants to develop effective strategies and resources that enhance phonics instruction.
