Job summary

We are looking for a full time Staff Nurse with experience of working in a hospital environment to join this established team. Development and training within this role will be offered. There is an expectation that hours are worked flexibly which includes nights and weekends.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic, dynamic and forward thinking professionals who have experience of working in a team. With the patient at the Centre of all you do, you will require good communication skills, be assertive and provide a high standard of nursing care with the support of the ward Sister.

Main duties of the job

Minehead Hospital boastsstate of the art facilities in a fabulous rural location. We are situated on the coast in beautiful West Somerset, we offer excellent staff facilities including staff dining room with a south facing balcony, largefree staff car park and modern changing facilities.

The ward has 19 inpatient beds set out as single rooms and two four bed bays. Each room has an on suite and overhead hoist system. All modern facilities. We have a specially designed room for end of life care. We offer rehabilitation and subacute medical intervention.
