The ideal person for the Deputy Manager role:
  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration
  • Previous Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead experience 
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards

What to expect in this role
  • To ensure the Homes are compliant with all relevant Regulations of the Health and Social Care Acts in conformance with the ‘Fundamental Standards of Quality and Safety’ and CQC KLOEs (Key lines of enquiry) and local contract monitoring teams’ standards.
  • To meet financial objectives by maximising service efficiency and profitability.
  • To ensure the premises and care home is ‘fit for purpose’ with regard to the Home’s aims and objectives. This will require the Home to be in good decorative order, safe and appropriately equipped to provide an excellent service.
  • To carry out normal duties as required in the job description for a Registered General Nurse.
  • To assist the Registered Manager in their Principal Duties and Areas of Responsibility 
40 hours per week
