About the Role

As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Nursery Manager to deliver outstanding outcomes for children. You will be responsible for leading a team of Early Years Educators, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure that our high standards are met. Your expertise in the EYFS and statutory requirements will be invaluable in inspiring and motivating your team to deliver exceptional care and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Early Years Educators to deliver outstanding outcomes for children
  • Support the Nursery Manager to meet targets relating to occupancy, revenue, and staff retention
  • Resume overall responsibility for the nursery in the manager's absence
  • Uphold exemplary levels of customer care and champion partnership working

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Holds an early years qualification at level three or above and has demonstrable experience of working in a leadership role in a nursery setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and statutory requirements
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver outstanding outcomes for children
