SEN Teacher Opportunity – Permanent Role (January 2025 Start)

A highly reputable SEN school in Reading is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from January 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons that meet the needs of SEN students.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including support staff, therapists, and parents.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN), particularly in a classroom setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies, behaviour management, and differentiation.
  • Excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of SEN students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
