We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Primary School Cover Supervisor to join a supportive team in Sunderland. This role is ideal for those looking to gain valuable experience in a vibrant educational environment.
Position Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Your role will include managing classroom behavior, ensuring students stay on task, and facilitating a positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support students during lessons and activities.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring that students engage with the material.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Monitor student behavior and provide support as needed.
- Provide feedback to teachers about student engagement and any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
- A passion for education and helping students succeed.
- A degree or relevant qualification is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
