To be part of the UK Sales team based at home or Head Office and responsible for generating sales within the UK and Ireland by promoting the full range of pumps and associated equipment plus peripheral services.To generate sales for the Company and develop strong sustainable relationships with clients in the sales region. Additional duties include prospecting for new customers typically in the following markets (although not exhaustive) pump and equipment rental, water and wastewater, construction, civil engineering, mineral extraction, oil and gas, general industrial, OEM, manufacturing in order to meet sales targets for the territory. Key Responsibilities

Prepare weekly sales reports (forecast, customer visit report, competitor analysis etc) showing sales volume including potential sales, monitored against the budget, with action plan to address the variations. 
Create and maintain the sales pipeline.
Maintain accurate records of sales inquiries and progress using our CRM system, ensuring effective and timely updating and reporting. 
Take ownership of achieving set sales targets, contributing to the growth and success of the business. 
Maximising revenue opportunities from our existing customers and nurture business relationships. 
Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings 
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services ensuring prompt follow-up and reporting. 
Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation and understand the organisation and key decision makers. 
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers. 
Support marketing with case studies and content. 
Assist in the development of the business sales and marketing strategy. Participate and visit exhibitions and conferences in the UK and Europe Deliver our values of: Quality, Availability, Service, Innovation, Cost whilst supporting Goal Zero which means zero harm to people and the environment. Act as the primary point of contact between the customer and Pioneer Pump to ensure outstanding customer service so we are an indispensable partner to our customers.
Undertake administrative duties within the sales team as and when required. Liaise with the various departments (Financial, Production, Procurement etc) when necessary.Other duties as may be required from time to time to support the Sales team and the wider UK Group.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Personal attributes The successful job holder will be:
· Of smart appearance as cold calling be required.
· Self-confident with excellent communication skills.
· Honest.
· Able to plan and organise daily and weekly calls without daily supervision.
· Able to demonstrate the ability to plan and manage their workload with the overall goal of delivery and continuous growth to the business.
· Have the ability to focus on identifying and developing areas of opportunity to increase revenue.
· Able to demonstrate drive and self-motivation in ensuring all opportunities are followed up and the business generated is profitable.
· Have a good geographical knowledge of the area.
· Hold a full current driving licence.
Education/ Qualifications:
Preferred: Degree in engineering or business-related subjects.Essential: Educated to higher level standard (Higher Education) with good science business based subject passes. Experience: Previous face to face sales experience is preferred in the sales or rental business for plant hire equipment, rotating equipment industry or similar industrial environment.Be able to demonstrate a proven track record in profitable business generation along with a good financial acumen, budgetary awareness, experience of negotiating and working closely with customers to achieve optimum sales agreements and reach financial targets.Must have a high competency level in MS Office applications.
