Interim Property Operations Director

Here at settle we are looking for a Property Operations Director to join us on an interim basis. This role will lead and manage our wider property maintenance portfolios including Empty Homes, Repairs and Neighbourhood maintenance.
Requirements
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- To lead on the strategic planning, development and delivery of all property related compliance to ensure the delivery of the Customer Promise and the required efficiency and value for money.
- Support our trade colleagues in order to raise both colleague engagement, performance and productivity.
- Implementing robust support and performance management processes within the directorate
- Be a key player in ensuring we apply the Ombudsman code of practice, take part in the complaints process at all levels, putting things right if they go wrong, providing high levels of impartiality and professionalism in everything you and your team do, ensure that we manage complaints in a high quality way, deliver a best in sector approach to complaint management.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key external stakeholders and partners
About you
- Extensive asset management experience at a senior management level
- Have a strong sector understanding, awareness of consumer regulation, awareness of repairs standards, home standards and general awareness of compliance issues within property operations
- Experience in developing and managing effective customer-driven services.
- Demonstrate a successful results-driven approach (customer and commercial excellence) leading direct labour teams as well as supporting subcontractors.
- Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience.
- Able to engage and inspire colleagues throughout the organisation.
- Be able to work within and across the business to implement change and improvement programs. Share a vision for a more best in sector property operations directorate
- Being present and visible to all colleagues in your directorate (at least 4 days per week - requirement to be on site from 8am frequently)
