An exciting opportunity has arisen within the CAMHS Specialist Services - CAMHS Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team for a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse in our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team.

The post holder must have a core nursing qualification and registration, and knowledge and experience of working within CAMHS or relevant clinical services.

The successful candidate will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary CRHT Team, offering referral screening, triage, assessments and brief evidence-based interventions with a role to prevent admissions to tier 4 services.

The role encompasses a shared team caseload, collaborative working, with protected time for training, development, supervision and multi-disciplinary case discussion. This is a great opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills around mental health, well-being, risk management and community services.

We are a 24/7 service operating a self-rostering system for our staff.

Our team work Long Days of 8am - 8pm and Nights of 8pm - 8am. Rotas are prepared well in advance and we aim to promote staff wellbeing and work / life balance.

Enhancements are paid for weekend and evening /night working.

Main duties of the job
