Due to substantial investment, we are now in a position to recruit to the CAMHS Urgent Care Provision which covers Crisis, Home Treatment and Liaison services for young people.

Crisis and Home Treatment has an emphasis on being able to support in the most complex times of a young persons life, and help them to stabilise in their mental health.
Liaison focusses on ensuring that anyone under 18 attending one of our esteemed hospitals has timely access to a sound, high quality assessment for their mental health.
Both services support young people and their families therapeutically to help them navigate through the period of crisis.

**Note**: Practitioners will be able to specialise in one of these areas but there will be an expectation that they may need to cover all areas as service requires. This allows for greater breadth of experience and scope for development.

You must be a Registered Nurse, Dip SW or equivalent social work qualification (CSS, CQSW, degree in social work), Allied Health Professional registered with the HCPC and accredited by a HCPC recognised body e.g. BABCP.

**As a CAMHS Urgent Care Practitioner, you will**:
Work as part of an MDT to assess, formulate and support young people and their families when they are in a crisis situation and require access to mental health support. This may be in the community or in one of the acute hospitals.
Offer targeted follow up interventions in a range of therapeutic modalities and training will be provided to help staff continue to build their careers.
Manage mental health risk and work with the network around the young person to ensure safety and wellbeing.

We are seeking and developing a highly skilled, experienced, compassionate, flexible and motivated workforce. To support this, we set high standards for the care and support we offer; this is supported by a robust induction period, a team-based approach to managing risk, on site and visible senior leadership support and specialist training opportunities. Full training will be provided.
