Role: Chef de Partie
Location: Padstow

Rate of pay: £14.50 per hour + holiday pay

Platinum Recruitment are supporting a well known hotel chain in the Padstow area who are looking for a Chef de Partie to assist them in their busy restaurant. This is an ongoing temporary assignment for the following dates:

  • Saturday 17th August
  • Sunday 18th August
  • Tuesday 20th August
  • Thursday 22nd August
  • Friday 23rd August
  • Tuesday 27th August
  • Wednesday 28th August

Duties to include:

  • Prepare and cook fresh vegetables, salads, prepare desserts and other produce.
  • To work with customer's dietary requirements
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Work without supervision, on occasions, to produce meals to meet high standards and in the absence of senior kitchen staff, assist with ordering stock, menu planning and staff training
  • Ensure kitchen hygiene standards are always maintained to the levels required by the Head Chef, in line with Environmental Health Office regulations.
  • Assist with stock control and stock take procedures as necessary under the direction of the Head Chef and/or Sous Chef.
  • Receive deliveries of goods and assist with the storage of goods under the guidance of Head Chef and/or Sous Chef
  • Run a section for a full service when required
  • To work to & meet with all Health & Safety & risk assessment procedures
