Four Spires Benefice enjoys a diversity of worship, and is forging close links between our parishes, moving forward together.
Together we seek an Incumbent who:
  • Is a straightforward and forthright priest, rooted in the Word, keen to preach it and encourage us to strengthen faith in others
  • will be a capable leader of our small team: someone constructive, encouraging and delegating; able to build up and encourage us to step out in faith;
  • works easily with all ages and different communities (rural and urban);
  • ably presides within a variety of worship styles, and will lead our worship in a creative and inspirational manner
With the exciting opportunity of outreach and significant church growth before us, we are seeking a Priest who brings leadership, teaching and encouragement that enables us, the lay parishioners, to bring the knowledge and love of Christ afresh into our local communities.
You will particularly enjoy this role if you are excited by:
  • deepening and growing faith within local
  • communities
  • opening God’s Word to people
  • teaching and showing others “how”, so they in turn teach and minister to others
  • spending time in prayer, listening to God’s Voice
  • connecting with all manner of folk, developing mission in the parishes through PCCs and congregations
  • building our congregations in faith and numbers, increasing our love and understanding of Jesus through the power of His Holy Spirit, so we serve others to God’s glory
(Oh - and there is a lovely big modern vicarage too… )
