I am a 3.5 year old little girl with quadriplegic cerebral palsy and require a wheelchair at all times.I am looking for someone who can assistmewith all aspects of my day-to-day life including personal care, dressing, feeding and activities. I am non-verbal but love to be social and enjoys being around other people and other children and being kept busy. I love Peppa Pig, playing with sensory toys, swimming, being outside on my swing and going on walks.

PURPOSE OF JOB

To support me with all my daily activities within the family home as well as accessing the local community.

PLACE OF WORK

I live in Whitchurch Cardiff with my family.

HOURS OF WORK

Relief cover for annual leave & sickness. 
4 hrs p/w, to be used on a Saturday or Sunday morning. 

RATE OF PAY

£12.40 per hour.

TASKS INVOLVED

·Assisting with personal care

·Assisting with feeding

·Entertaining and doing activities with me

·Full training will be given on all aspects

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

·Due to the nature of this role involving personal care, I will need a female assistant.

·Previous experience desirable but not essential; the right attitude and warm character is of the utmost importance

·Honest, reliable and punctual

·Enjoys working with children

·Be happy to get ‘stuck in’ and learn all about myself and my likes/dislikes

·Full driving license with Business class 1 required

·Must like dogs as we have a very over-friendly Cavapoo named Elvis

·Manual Handling Certificate required if not a Free Training course will be providedprior to starting the role.
