Female Personal Assistant to Adult

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and punctual Female Personal Assistant to support an adult with dementia in their daily life. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the individual's safety and well-being within their home and when out in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation and light household duties
- Support the individual to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Assist with medication management and administration
- Report any changing conditions or incidents to the individual's husband or family
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to respect the individual's and family's privacy and confidentiality
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the individual's needs
- Previous experience working with people with dementia or similar conditions
- Full driving licence and access to a car with business insurance
Desirable Qualities
- Emotionally intelligent and able to pick up on non-verbal communication
- Patient and able to maintain a good sense of humour
- Enjoys music and other activities that stimulate the mind
