WHAT TO EXPECT

We are actively in pursuit of an accomplished Software Development Specialist poised to play a pivotal role in advancing our Systems Integration realm.

You will be instrumental in the development and introduction of precise applications software, verification protocol, networks and associated interfacing with a variety of test-stand and transducer technologies, together with the capability to verify and analyse data transmitted therein.

You will be at the forefront of Road Load Data technology development. This team is part of JLR’s Engineering Laboratories - working within the Engineering Operations business unit. Road Load Data (RLD) supports multiple CoCs with the provision of design and performance in-vehicle measurements but also assists in process development for operations management of the wider laboratory environment and its test protocol.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

You will be a key part of our department, whether you are developing processes for; measurement, integration with networks, automating processes or testing and analysing data Working on all aspects of processes associated with prototype development, from initial prototypes through to series production Review and technical negotiation on software, either proprietary or bespoke with system and subsystem owners and suppliers You will be able to develop software tools aimed at enhancing internal processes that boosting overall productivity - used for processing, categorisation and reporting of uncorrupted network & real-time data with high accuracy

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Knowledge and experience working with multiple languages including C++, Python, and Java Strong experience with Software Delivery Management Experience in coding with Artificial Intelligence, and Neural Networks Knowledge of Computer Architecture and experience in Interfacing Hardware
