Senior Therapeutic Radiographer
Role Summary
The Exeter Oncology Centre has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Therapeutic Radiographer with clinical experience to join our Radiotherapy team in a senior position.
The Oncology Centre is located on the Royal Devon site in Exeter. We operate three matched Varian Truebeam Linacs, all with full imaging and 6 DoF capabilities and have recently completed our equipment refresh programme through the installation of a new Canon Aquilion wide bore CT scanner. An Eclipse planning system facilitates the planning and delivery of external beam treatment. The external beam radiotherapy service is paperless utilising the Varian Aria administration system for service delivery. We also offer a wide range of Brachytherapy services, to include gynaecological, interstitial prostate and oesophageal treatments.
Our service has undergone significant transformation over the past few years, including the commissioning of a SABR service for primary lung disease and several oligometastatic disease sites supported by a robust IGRT programme. Further imaging and treatment developments, to include 4DCBCT, gated CBCT and 6 DoF couches are being facilitated by the equipment refresh and will be implemented clinically over the coming year. We are also actively involved in a broad range of clinical radiotherapy trials.
