Personal Assistant/Companion Required in Poynton SK12
£12.00 per hour depending on experience.
12 hours per week – Flexible Hours to be discussed at interview.
Mileage costs will be paid for.

I am a young lady who loves swimming, bowling and going to the cinema and I am looking for a friendly and enthusiastic personal assistant who can support me with a variety of day to day and social activities.

Main Duties will include;

Encourage me to learn new skills and promote my independence.
Accompany me to college and social classes.
Assist me to access social activities such as the cinema, eating out, swimming or bowling.
To drive me to college, activities and appointments or accompany me on public transport as required.
Occasional evening work may be required as and when needed. However, this will not be regular.
The main duties identified in the job description are examples of the expectations required; I may on occasions reasonably request additional activities to be undertaken inside or outside of the home.

Personal Assistant Specification
An interest in music, craft work and board games would be useful.
My Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable, must respect my privacy and maintain my dignity at all times. My Assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition. You must be able to work well independently. The Personal Assistant should understand their role in facilitating the self-defined needs of the employer.
Experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
You will need to have access to your own vehicle with Business Insurance (Class 1)
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer

Supervision
My Personal Assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
