About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a bank worker, providing support to a young lady with complex health needs in her own home. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for building a strong working relationship with the client, her family, and our team of support workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a caring and supportive relationship with our client.
  • Provide healthcare support, including personal care, medication administration, nutrition, and moving and handling, following instructions from senior team members.
  • Be available to participate in the on-call rota when required.
  • Provide social and emotional support within the home and support the client to access the community and attend local activities.

About You

We are looking for an individual who is reliable, trustworthy, kind, and caring. You must be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to use your own initiative. Due to the nature of the position, we are seeking candidates who can offer flexibility within their availability.

Requirements

  • Car drivers with a full clean driving license and willing to drive the client's wheelchair-accessible vehicle (manual gears) are essential.
  • Candidates must meet the requirements for motor insurance purposes.
  • Reasonable fitness level and comfort with water (swimming pool) due to the client's enjoyment of indoor and outdoor physical activities.
