Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 2:30pm

Due to growth, our manufacturing client in south Liverpool are currently seeking a Trainee Electrical Hardware Engineer to join the team. The business operates within the electronics industry and provide clients with test solutions. On offer is a basic starting salary of £20,300 to £25,000 (DOE). Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am to 2:30pm.

This is the ideal opportunity for a college/university graduate with a qualification in electronics to take their first step in their career.

The main duties of a Trainee Electrical Hardware Engineer are:
  • Assist the circuit testing department
  • Help in preparing ICT systems for sale
  • Disassembling test systems down to the chassis
  • Cleaning, repairing, and replacing
  • Reassembling
  • Diagnosing issues
  • Repairing power supplies
  • Soldering
  • Installing and serving the systems
  • Attending client sites to review works and support with maintenance
To apply for the role of a Trainee Electrical Hardware Engineer:
  • You must have a UK driving licence - this is essential
  • An HNC, HND or degree in electronical engineering is desirable
  • Some work experiences in electronics would be beneficial
  • You must possess good communication skills
  • You must have the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
  • You must have a good understanding of Electronics
  • You must be self-motivated
