WHAT YOU’LLDO
The Program Associate is a new position andwill have a frontrow seat to a growing philanthropic program.Reporting to the Global Initiative’s Program Officer thisposition will:
- Provide critical support ofadministrative and programmatic functions related to thegrantmaking process and granteeportfolio.
- Work closely with the ProgramOfficer on the grants diligence process; research collect andanalyze information related to potential and existingpartnerships.
- Manage the timely entry andupkeep of information in the Salesforce database; track pipelinesdeadlines budgets and other grantrelatedactivities.
- Build rapport with grantees andprovide technical assistance as needed; serve as the point personfor submission of grant materials andfollowup.
- Coordinate scheduling outreach tocommunication and meeting preparation with grantees peer fundersand other externalstakeholders.
- Support the planning andexecution of grantee convenings and international site visits fordue diligence and learning.
- Produce highquality and timelyinternal materials inclusive of memos and grant recommendations forteam review.
- Provide additional administrativesupport to the Program Officer such as managing expense reportstravel and calendaring.
- Liaise with and support theoverall program team including grants management and finance staffas needed.
- Operate with discretion andjudgment in handling sensitive information about grantees and PilotHouse Philanthropy.
- Monitor trends and buildknowledge in core issues related to rural livelihoods climateadaptation ecosystem protection and gender equity in the GlobalSouth.

- You are a supportive andknowledgeable resource to others. You bring a“customer service” mentality to supportinginternal and external stakeholders. You are reliable responsivehelpful and operate with the utmost discretion andconfidentiality.
- You are a thoughtfulcommunicator who conveys information clearly andconcisely. You excel in written and inpersoncommunication with the ability to engage a variety of audiences andskill in analyzing breaking down and communicating ideas in simpleways.
- You are an analyticalthinker with solid technology skills. You have ademonstrated ability to identify collect organize and synthesizeinformation from various data sources. Fluency in MS Office andSalesforce experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity withimpact evaluation and/or financial analysis is aplus.
- You are an adaptableagile and selfled “doer.” You are astrong multitasker with the ability to stay focused and nimble inmanaging multiple workstreams. You are a selfstarter with agetitdone attitude and willingness to jump in without beingasked.
WORK ENVIRONMENT SALARY ANDBENEFITS
This position has a hybrid schedule and isexpected to work in the Boston office a minimum of 2 days/week.Additional inoffice days will be required during the first sixmonths of employment to facilitate various onboarding and/ortraining needs.
The annual salary range for this role is$75000.00 to $85000.00. An employee's pay within this rangewill depend on factors such as education qualificationscertifications experience and skill levels.
