Overview: Join Agilent as a Software Quality Test Engineer and play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be instrumental in fostering a customer-focused quality culture within our project teams and may guide, train, and consult on quality processes and methods. Additionally, you may oversee third-party vendors and product partners to ensure contract deliverables are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate the PLRM product line software, including the Vaya Handheld Raman Spectrometer for Raw Material Identification, Insight200M, RapID Raw Material ID Verification System, TRS100 Quantitative Pharmaceutical Analysis System, and Resolve Handheld Raman Analyzer.
Collaborate with marketing teams and software engineers to ensure requirements are correctly implemented and meet Agilent’s quality standards and metrics.
Enter and classify defects, and participate in multi-functional team reviews.
Perform regression and workflow validation testing, as well as unscripted software thrashing.
Develop and update manual and automated test cases to meet quality testing requirements and metrics.
Update installation guides and product documentation.
Ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
In-depth knowledge and experience with UV-Vis-NIR, Fluorescence, and IR instrumentation and associated software.
Experience with Raman instrumentation is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience in software testing or instrumentation and associated software.
