Job Title: Laboratory Technician (Entry)Clinical Dev.& OpsR&DCS Location: Chesterfield MO 63017 Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Onsite Job Description: POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Processing Sample Orders via the SampleLogistics Apps.
  • Prepare Sample Orders for shipping and attachappropriate SDS(s).
  • Scan each sample order and its samples for packaginginto shipping container complete the shipping process according toIATA and/or DOT regulations and file the shipping documents.
  • Assist in completinginternational shipments and communicating shipping details.
  • Physically conductand reconcile sample inventories (current bulk and GLP) in theSample Logistics Apps. And create Excel inventory reports.
  • Responsible forreceiving packages for the Sample Logistics team and maintainingaccurate records for future references.
  • Main the archive Certificate of Analysis forGLP samples.
  • Assistin overseeing the restricted GLP cage area where GLP samples aremaintained and secured according to GLP regulations.
  • Subfilling sample containeradhering to all HSE SDS and site safety policies. Apply FIFRAresearch sample labels and stickers according to process orders.Scan samples into the inventory and complete process order.
  • Ability to identifyquestionable test substances based on appearance and consult SampleLogistics manager.
  • Maintain update and archive Safety Data Sheets (SDS) forthe Sample Logistics Inventory retrieving SDS from Global QHSEdatabase other Ag manufactures/suppliers databases.
  • Maintain bulk inventory withappropriate labels scan to physical location and place containerson appropriated shelves.
  • Assist in ordering receiving and organizing supplies intheir designated areas for the Sample Logistics team.
  • Assist the sample logistics teamwith other duties as requested.
  • Complete all Client trainings including IATA and DOTtrainings.
  • Report toand notified the Sample Logistics manager or designated person ofany discrepancies with orders computer and application problems andother issues that may arise with the samples process.
  • 13 Years of Experience.
  • BS/BA degree in ascience field preferred or experience working in a laboratory withvarious chemistries.
  • Good mathematical and communication skills experiencewith working in a laboratory environment (Hoods balances lab media)and Inventory knowledge.
