Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have a brilliant opportunity for an Apprentice IT Business Systems Analyst to join the IT Demand team. This is an exciting new role in which our successful candidate will work to understand the lifecycle of an initial request and how it progresses through Demand to Delivery. You'll be enrolled on the Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship which will run for between 15-20 months.

What you'll be doing:

With on-the-job learning and mentor support, you'll be expected to work closely with the business on gathering and documenting requirements using elicitation techniques, other responsibilities also include:
  • Understanding and documenting business processes, system dependencies and integration.
  • Supporting the tendering process (RFI & RFP) to identify a suitable vendor and solution.
  • Consulting throughout project lifecycles and post-implementation to ensure solution, design, business requirements and IT strategy are satisfied.
  • Working with off-the-shelf 3rd party software solutions.
  • Focusing on the technology aspect of a solution and taking into consideration how it will integrate and impact our current infrastructure, security, and architecture.

This role will play an integral part in allowing the business to continue to improve customer experience, increase operational efficiency and maximise profit as the business continues to grow.

What you'll have:
  • GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) at grade A-C (9-4)
  • Must have been resident in the UK for 3 years
  • You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • You'll have an analytical mind with good attention to detail.
  • You'll have problem-solving skills with the ability to use own judgement to find the best solutions.
  • Be a team player, working together with the team to support your own professional development and the success of projects
