Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced International Business Unit Director who will be responsible for leading strategic marketing research projects for APLUSA’s key accounts, as well as for developing opportunities for new business with those accounts. He/She is responsible overseeing project teams to ensure excellence in service delivery and the development of strategic insights in accordance with the research and business objectives set forth by APLUSA’s clients. The Business Unit Director is also responsible for maintaining and developing close relationships with clients and for contributing to the development of proposals to respond to clients’ ongoing insights needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promoting the company to potential or existing clients (presentations, social networks, etc.);
  • Responding to calls for tenders;
  • Writing effective business proposals; Convincing clients that our studies meet their needs and expectations;
  • Taking charge of quantitative and qualitative studies;
  • Guiding the teams during the preparation of the studies and adjust it if necessary according to the Clients;
  • Being in contact with the Client during the studies in order to ensure the smooth running of the studies and to deliver the expected deliverables on time;
  • Ensuring that standards and processes are maintained during the production of studies;
  • Guiding the study teams during the analysis and writing of reports;
  • Adding value to the various projects by writing recommendations and recommendations through reports and presentations;
  • Presenting the results to the Clients and help them maximize the value of their investments by discussing with them;
  • Being aware of the market tendencies
  • Being proactive and always trying to improve APLUSA’s offer

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in primary market research for healthcare manufacturers including strong agency-side experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or appropriate graduate degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Expert at managing and selling qualitative and quantitative market research
  • Ability sell and execute market research projects
  • Experience in conducting research in specialized therapy areas (oncology, immunology, infectious diseases, etc.)
  • Facility with Microsoft Office including Excel & PowerPoint
