Your new company
Your new organisation is a 17th century country house based in Sevenoaks, Kent. The residence is home to 51 residents with preserved period rooms and expansive, stunning gardens. They are currently looking for a Deputy Manager/Registered Nurse to achieve the highest standard of care through direct nursing care and effective supervision of staff. The ideal candidate would have managing experience and the ability to ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to in the home.
Your new role
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure staff contribute to efficient running of the home and create a positive atmosphere for service users
- Provide direct nursing care, report on service user health, and ensure dietary needs are met
- Maintain service user care plans and records
- Administer medications per company procedure and NMC guidelines
- Maintain effective communication with service users, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team
- Ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to company policies
- In the absence of the General Manager, take on additional responsibilities like filling staff vacancies, managing HR processes, and overseeing home operations
Essential:Registered Nurse with current NMC registrationPrevious management / supervisory experience.Excellent communication skills.Ability to lead an effective team.To work with respect for dignity and independenceTo be an inspirational team memberTo provide the highest level of care and supportDesired:
- Experience/qualification in care for relevant Service User category
