About the role 

We’re looking for a Senior People Operations to join our People team. If you are looking to define your career within a people-first organisation, thriving in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, this is the right opportunity for you 

Reporting to our Head of People, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our employees at Motorway.

You will be a key member of our people team, working with the people team and wider business to run our ‘people operations’. You will be the deepest subject-matter expert on how we best optimise our HRIS, and provide detailed and error free guidance to the team and managers & ensure we offer a 5* standard to our employees.

What you'll do:

HRIS administration: Oversee the day-to-day operation of our HRIS (BambooHR), including system configuration, data management, and user support  System enhancements and optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders at Motorway to identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiencies. Implement enhancements and integrations as needed. Plan, conduct and risk mitigate BAU processes: pro-actively schedule, organise and set up our systems & guidance to ensure we hit our business as usual people activities (such as performance management, engagement survey etc) in a timely, concise and risk mitigating manner Data management and reporting: Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS (BambooHR). Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support HR analytics and decision-making. Compliance and security: Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and internal security protocols. Implement and monitor access controls and data protection measures. Vendor management: Liaise with HRIS vendors (BambooHR, CultureAmp etc) and external partners to understand product updates, staying at the forefront of innovation, support with managing contracts Process documentation: Document HRIS processes, procedures, and system configurations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge base and user guides. Integration and automation: Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate HR systems with other business applications. Identify opportunities for process automation.

Requirements

Strong technical skills with proficiency in HRIS platforms (, Workday, ADP, BambooHR, etc.) and proficiency with suites such as google, slack or microsoft (Motorway uses google suites) Knowledge of HR processes and data management best practices. Experience in data analysis, reporting, and system troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment. Natural team player and inclusive
