Job summary

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our us. We are a friendly team who take's pride in nurturing a friendly and supportive environment in which to work while ensuring we deliver high quality, patient-centered care to our patients.

You will always adhere to the NMC code of Professional Conduct and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures. To ensure that an individual programmed of care is planned, implemented, and evaluated for each patient within own sphere of responsibility. You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team always ensuring the delivery of a high standard of car to the patients and act as positive role model and take charge in the absence of team leader.

To participate in all relevant aspects of the Governance process.

You are expected to be rotated within the three clinal area ie: clinic ward and theatres.

Main duties of the job

To provide and maintain the highest possible standards of patient care.

To develop and maintain good ward management and organisational skills.

To provide effective support for the ward manager and sister/charge nurse, ensuring self-development in the day-to-day management of the ward/clinic .

Under the supervision of the ward / department manager to work on delegated projects relating to local policy and service development.

To work towards an awareness of service delivery plans.

To be involved actively in the implementation of Trust policies and procedures at ward / department level, reinforcing their use.
