Top Bananas – Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship
The Aspire Training Team are seeking a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual as an apprentice to complete their Level 3 Childcare qualification with Top Bananas.
Top Bananas Pre-School is a new and exciting setting, located within the Life Centre Moordown. This facility comprises of two spacious light rooms which are joined by a sensory walk through and an area where children can sit and look at books, whilst gazing at bright blue feature 'sky' wall. The nursery also has an exploration room, sensory walk, messy play room and harbour hall.
Your duties and responsibilities would include:
Generally getting to know the routine of the children and setting The successful candidate will be involved in the curiosity approach journey and learn how to support the children Cover all aspects of self-care, washing faces and hands, nappy changing, toileting (will receive ongoing and continuous training in particular) Safeguarding and hygiene, and helping at snack and meal time Be involved in day-to-day operations, planning, observations, setting up activities and using own initiativeRequirements:
You must be able to gain a clear DBS, Having GCSE's A*-C in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills are desired Level 2 Childcare Qualification is desired but not essential Must have a good knowledge of EYFQualities Required;
Be a good communicator and develop parent partnerships Be keen, curious and enthusiasticHours;
Top Bananas are open from 08:00-16:45 Monday to Friday, all year round The successful candidate will be required to work between 30-35 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussedBenefits:
