Job summary

Weare looking for a motivated and skilled prescribing pharmacist to join ourpharmacy team at Broad Lane Surgery, to help support our management of clinicaldocuments and prescriptions.

Youwill be based solely at Broad Lane Surgery in Hampton and work alongside ourexisting Clinical Pharmacist. They will be supported by the GPs and be a keymember of a multi-disciplinary team. They will haveaccess to clinical supervision, training and development opportunities andattend weekly clinical meetings.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be in a patient-facing role1 session a week, with the remaining 4 managing clinical administration related to prescription requests and docman.

About us

Broad Lane Surgery is a GMS teachingpractice with a list size of 6800 on the outskirts of Southwest London.

We have 2 Partners/ 5 salaried GP's/1 clinical pharmacist/1 practice nurse/ I HCA/ I MH worker plus our an admin team.

Essential

Prescribing Pharmacist: Candidates must be fully qualified prescribing pharmacists with strong clinical acumen. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. Communication: Exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex and sensitive information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in IT, with the ability to access, analyse, and interpret complex technical information. Resilience: Capable of working efficiently under pressure while consistently meeting deadlines. Teamwork and Independence: Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Accountability: Display a strong sense of accountability, ensuring the delivery of high-quality professional expertise and direct service provision Key responsibilities: -Docman processing -Prescription requests -SMR reviews -Chronic disease management: asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension -Audit work
