This role is based in our Global Client Technology Team which focused on delivering enhanced value for multinational clients and works with many of the worlds largest and most risk adverse organisations.

Role Overview:

As a Technology Solutions Architect on the Global Client Technology Team, you will play a crucial role in bridging Securitas Technology's advanced security solutions with the specific needs of our global clientele, with a particular focus on clients in our Global Client Program. This position involves a deep understanding of client requirements, advocating on their behalf, and leading the development, integration, and implementation of new security programs and solutions within their security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in electronic security solution offerings, guiding customer discussions and decision-making.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between sales teams, local and regional field resources, and the pre/post-sales engineering departments.
  • Provide expert systems integration and field application guidance to the sales organization.
  • Offer mentorship on technology to sales, costing, engineering, and field implementation teams.
  • Conduct customer consultations, presentations, and demonstrations to tailor technologies to customer needs.
  • Perform detailed field surveys for design development and estimating of customer solutions.
  • Employ value engineering to align solutions with customer needs and support sales operations.
  • Aid in the development of materials and documentation for sales proposals, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to product standards.
  • Provide input to product management on product improvements based on customer feedback.
  • Select and standardize technology for installations, supporting field teams in understanding design and solution requirements.
  • Assist sales teams with technology-related inquiries, helping them comprehend the required solution and strategy to meet job specifications and win bids.
  • Participate in job kickoff meetings, ensuring seamless transitions from engineering to delivery, and supporting design questions during technology component implementation.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Electronic Security.
  • 2+ years of experience in designing Electronic Security Systems, including IDS, ACS, CCTV/VMS, Visitor Management Systems, and Intercom Systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license, without restrictions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of integrated security solutions and design.
  • Familiarity with Fire Alarm & Life Safety Codes, Computer Systems & Networking, door locking hardware, and low voltage systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electronic security specifications, performing equipment counts, and calculating power and battery requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong understanding of electronic security and information technology.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in consultative sales processes.
  • Field Applications and Systems Integration experience.
  • Knowledge of PSIM, GSOC, high security credentials (iClass/DESFire, PIV/FICAM), and certifications related to UL, BICSI, NFPA, and NICET, TATP.
