Job NotificationThis job description describes the minimum job requirements. Incumbents will be expected to follow additional instructions and perform additional duties as required.
Tasks• Handle all M&R estimates, supervision of repairs
• Raise purchase orders in SAP
• Identify warranty cases
• Assess value of depreciated containers
• Determine 3rd party responsibility for damage and contaminations and recover costs as necessary using the TREX process
• Exercise stringent cost control for all M&R categories
• Ensure all HL M&R standards are enforced and upheld in all subcontractor facilities
• Monitor quality of depot's performance daily and take appropriate action where necessary
• Technically supervise insurance claims
• Supervise method of repairs, maintaining quality and accuracy, pre-inspection and post repairs
• Monitor overdues in Depots and MARS system
• Monitor group mailbox and action emails
• Ensure all M&R costs are contained and transferred by month end
• Liaise closely with the Equipment Department to determine equipment requirements and to prioritise repairs
Job RequirementTechnical knowledge of containers
Knowledge of Hapag-Lloyd’s products, equipment and processes
Customer-oriented with positive attitude.
Knowledge of market & competitors
Knowledge of related regulations
Some knowledge of user application systems (FIS, MS Office, SAP, MARS)
Good command of spoken and written English
Able to demonstrate strong negotiation and persuasion skills
