CDC Project Manager

Job summary
The Project Manager will work to support the development and build of two Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs), one based at the James Paget Hospital and one at Northgate Hospital site.
The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the CDC project under their sole responsibility, is set up in line with the PMO's standards, involve all of the relevant stakeholders, completion of Trust's documentation and is quality risk assessed at each stage.
The prime responsibility of this post will be to support the project team to deliver the scheme within the agreed timescales and financial budget.
Main duties of the job
Support with the identification of opportunities, schemes and projects, to support the CDC Programme Co-ordinate actions and challenge assumptions at the design stage, to ensure project requirements will be achieved. Manage each project to conform to industry standard / best practice techniques ( Prince2 Project Management, LEAN). Complete project plan documentation detailing the activities required to achieve the agreed benefits, completion of the quality and risk assessment documentation etc. Manages all projects (allocated by the CDC SRO or Programme Lead) through to delivery, adjusting project plans in line with changing needs and requirements. Interpret the service needs of all relevant hospital departments and work at all levels within the organisation with clinical staff and heads of departments to agree detailed project requirements, including phasing of the work required. Manage all project associated meetings, and report or take action as required by these groups. Use communication skills appropriate to staff at all levels. Collate daily / weekly (as required) reports on progress of all projects and provide feedback to stakeholders and to the Programme Lead Agree appropriate acceptance criteria and accept completed projects on behalf of the Trust.
