JobDescription:

Weare seeking a skilled andpassionate Fee Earner with experience ingeneral litigation to join ouresteemed inquest and public law team.As a key member of our team you willhave the opportunity to supportsenior fee earners attend client meetings andhearings andindependently manage your own caseload. You will play a vitalrolein assisting with funding and legal aid matters as well asthepreparation and investigatory steps of coronial inquiries.Additionally youwill have the opportunity to advise and assistclients with Human Rights andPersonal Injury claims contributing toour mission of delivering justiceandaccountability.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Supportsenior fee earners inall aspects of casework including legalresearch drafting legal documentsand attendinghearings.
  • Attendclient meetings andhearings providing expert advice and guidance onlegal matters related topersonal injury and inquestproceedings.
  • Independentlymanage a caseloadof personal injury and inquest cases ensuring thatall client matters arehandled with diligence professionalism andcompassion.
  • Assistwith funding and legalaid applications advocating for clientsrights to access justiceandcompensation.
  • Conductthorough investigationsand prepare necessary documentation forcoronial inquiries ensuring that allrelevant evidence is presentedaccurately andeffectively.
  • Providelegal advice andrepresentation to clients on Human Rights andPersonal Injury claimsadvocating for their rights and interestswith integrity anddedication.

Requirements:

  • QualifiedSolicitor with aminimum of 3 years PQE or equivalent experience ingenerallitigation.
  • Proventrack record of handlingpersonal injury and inquest cases with astrong understanding of relevantlegal principles andprocedures.
  • Excellentcommunication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to buildrapport with clients andstakeholders from diversebackgrounds.
  • Strongorganisational andtimemanagement skills with the ability toprioritise tasks and meet deadlinesin a fastpacedenvironment.
  • Commitmentto upholding thehighest standards of professionalism ethics andclientcare.
  • Abilityto work independently aswell as collaboratively within ateamorientedenvironment.
