Wings School Cumbria, part of Kedleston Group Limited, is an independent specialist residential and day school in Kendal for children and young people aged between the ages of 9 and 17. We support and care for children and young people who have identified social, emotional and mental health needs. They may also have learning difficulties such as autistic spectrum disorders including Asperger’s Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, moderate learning difficulties and other specific learning difficulties.

About you :

As Lead Maths Teacher at Wings School Cumbria, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. For this role, we are looking for someone who holds QTS or QTLS along with experience of teaching Maths and experience of working with children with SEND and SEMH . With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective classroom teaching, which engages and motivates young people you’ll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you’ll want to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people.
