Teaching experience is desirable, but we are looking for someone with the confidence to share their experience and knowledge with our students - we would provide support for gaining a formal teaching qualification alongside your work with us.

**What we're looking for**:
**Qualifications**
- Essential_
- A recognised teaching qualification or be willing to obtain within two years of appointment.
- Maths & English at level 2 (GCSE grade 4/C) or equivalent.
- Level 3 vocational qualification.
- Desirable_
- Assessor Award.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in the related discipline.

**Experience**
- Essential_
- Experience working with learners with additional learning needs.
- Desirable_
- Recent experience teaching in an FE/HE environment.

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Essential_
- A clear passion for childcare and a willingness to use it to inspire our students.
- Effective communication skills.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Good general knowledge of health and safety at work in an educational and relevant environment.
- Effective use of ILT to promote teaching and learning and monitor learning.
- Ability to provide high-quality pastoral care to learners.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Comprehensive current technical knowledge and skills commensurate with the required delivery.
