GSL Education is collaborating with a Special Needs school in Truro to recruit additional Teaching Assistants. This school serves children with special needs from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 5 (KS5). All students have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and various additional needs, such as Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments, along with a range of complex needs.
GSL Education are seeking those with previous SEN Teaching Assistant or those with good transferrable skills e.g. Support or Care work.
Personal Care may be required.
Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Truro
Salary: £83.33 per day
Start Date: September 2024
Type of work: Short term supply, part or full-time, longer-term roles available.
Requirements:
- Preference will be given to experienced candidates.
- Priority will be given to those with a driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
