About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in mainstream and specialist schools across mid and west Cornwall.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to ensure students can fully engage with their learning and reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to support learning and development
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure students' needs are met
  • Provide emotional and social support to students as required
