We are seeking motivated and detail orientated Buyers to join our esteemed procurement team at JCB. As a Buyer specialising in non production materials and services, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and procuring essential goods and services to support our operations. 

Note: We have Buyer opportunities based at either our Cheadle or Uttoxeter sites.

Role overview

As a Non- Production Buyer you’ll be at the business end of what we do in a highly visible and dynamic role. Your focus will include:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services.

• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favourable agreements and optimise costs.

• Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of quality and service.

About you

You bring a mixture of inter-personal & analytical skills that allows you successfully to negotiate & influence internal stakeholders and suppliers.

You are results driven and take ownership of projects you are working to achieve success.

You have a can-do attitude and are resilient & adaptable that is essential in a fast-moving environment.

Proven experience in purchasing, preferably in a non-production procurement role.
