Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Bid Writer, reporting to a Bid Director, who will work within a matrix bid team, to produce high-quality, compelling, and persuasive written content for bids, proposals, tenders and other work-winning submissions.

You will be responsible for understanding client requirements and engaging with subject matter experts to develop storyboards, content plans and written bid submissions that articulate the value and benefits of Mitie's client-focused solutions. In addition to this, you will provide high quality bid writing services to bids of various size, scale, and complexity on either an individual or a portfolio basis. You will also work proactively with key stakeholders in the bid process (e.g., Sales, Business Development, Operations, Legal, Commercial, Pricing) to develop high-quality written proposals informed by an integrated approach across all bids.

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record as an experienced Bid Writer within the Facilities Management industry. You will also have a working knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of bid writing best practice, bid processes and methodologies (essential) as well as a proven track record of successfully bidding to win contracts and opportunities.
