This is an exceptional opportunity to work for our client who are a leading Security Services Provider with a reputation for excellence in the Corporate Security Sector. They seek a Bid Writer to further develop the growth pipeline in their Corporate Security offering.
In this exciting role the successful candidate will have a direct impact on the growth of the business, manage the end-to-end bid process and the delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined time frames. This critical role reports into the Executive Director for Corporate services and collaborates closely with Divisional Directors.

The Role

To manage the end-to-end bid process.
To deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined time limits.
Coordinate and review / edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, with collaboration from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery.
Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from key stakeholders, engaging with sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and project management / delivery.
Prepare and review the commercial aspects of bids, ensuring all products / services are included in the purchase price to the customer.
Contributing to the written proposal including content and presentation (providing guidance around the executive summary).
Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines.
Ensure on-time submission of compliant and commercially sound bids.
Document template management in line with company branding.The Person

Experience working as a Bid Writer within the Security Industry.
The ability to co-ordinate and produce proposal (RFI, PPQ, ITT, RFP etc.) response whilst assembling a proposal team that has the skills to prepare and submit a winning bid for the business.
Proven background in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals within a complex business environment.
In-depth experience in scheduling and running proposal kick-off meetings, leading story-boarding sessions, facilitating key review meetings / final document review, coordinating proposal governance / sign off, document production, and delivery of the completed proposal.
Experience of designing, managing, and updating a Content Library or Proposal Automation Solution.
Strong time management / prioritisation skills.
Excellent written English language skills.
APMP Certification
