What to expect

As Strategic Partner Manager you will be responsible for the account management of one of our Tier 1 Partners WH Smith. You will own the commercial management of the partnership ensuring the viability for both parties as well as leading on all contract discussions and negotiations.


As the expert voice in the business for all things WH Smith you will understand product category specifics, landscapes and trends as you lead the development of the detailed partnership business plan ensuring delivery, growth and collaboration. Keeping abreast of developments within the industry you will identify ways to maximise remuneration developing and implementing cross sell and upsell strategies increasing benefit to both parties. 


You will provide a clear and consistent message both internally and externally of the strategic direction and become and advocate in the business representing the Strategic Partnership team.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess experience account managing a Tier 1 Partner or similar sized account. In addition, you will possess:
•    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
•    A strong understanding of Retail ideally with Partners 
•    Strong experience in contract negotiation and management 
•    High level experience in B2B relationship management
