Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with autism, tailored to their individual needs.
  • Assist teachers in creating and implementing personalized learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
  • Implement strategies and interventions to support students' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education.
 Requirements for this role:
  • Experience working with children with autism or special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience to handle the challenges of working in a dynamic school environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students

  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application through us
  • Two professional child-related references
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
