Job summary

We are looking to offer a 6 month secondment into a Community Matron position toenhance the safety, experience and outcomes of people using our services.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with a drive to embed high quality care to people in our GY&W communities, based on best practice. Ensuring that services meet the essential standards of care and quality required under CQC regulations and NSFT's quality and safety agenda.

The role will predominantly cover our older adults population with an expectation that nursing leadership will extend to our adult and Learning disability services.

We are looking for a person who is kind and compassionate to others, and is proactive in helping people reach their potential.

This is an exciting time for change within NSFT, this opportunity will benefit someone looking expand their already established nursing practice, knowledge and clinical leadership to embed and maintain effective systems for quality assurance and high standards clinical care

Main duties of the job

As Matron, you will be expected to demonstrate the qualities and skills associated with a clinical leadership role and be accountable for services meeting essential standards of care as outlined by the CQC as well as agreed local and national quality standards encompassing the following domains:

Patient Safety

Quality

Environment

Infection Prevention

Physical Health

Safeguarding

Feedback, Complaints, service improvement

Clinical Audit
